So Jackson has had a cold for the last week or so. He didn't seem to be getting any better so out of the fear of RSV we decided to take him into the doctor. We figured if nothing else, it would give us peace of mind. Turns out he has an ear infection, so I am glad we did. The real shocking news came as I placed him on the scale. We hadn't weighed him since his two month appointment (he only weighed 10.5 lbs...only the 27% for his age) and he had definitely had a growth spurt since then so I didn't really know what to expect. 17.5 lbs!!!! He gained 7 pounds in a month and a half. Crazy right?

My boys always got ear infections, when they were congested, but not until after 6 months. Keep an eye on him...if they are recurring and don't go away easily they may need to put in PE Tubes. Trevor just had his redone around Christmas time!
